Augustine Oti Yeboah
Director of Programs & Conservation Officer

Augustine Oti Yeboah is an experienced conservation professional with a strong background in wildlife research, conservation education, and protected area management. He holds an MPhil in Climate Change and a BSc in Natural Resource Management (Ecotourism option), both from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Sunyani, Ghana. He was awarded the RELAB Scholarship through the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) to pursue his postgraduate studies.
Since 2018, Augustine has served as Director of Programs and Conservation Officer at Alliance for Pangolin Conservation Ghana (Pangolin-Gh). In this role, he oversees the planning and implementation of conservation programs, conducts wildlife research, writes project proposals, and leads community engagement and environmental education initiatives, including establishing school wildlife clubs. He also manages the Onepone Endangered Species Refuge, coordinating ecotourism activities, patrol operations, and law enforcement monitoring, with expertise in using SMART software for data-driven management decisions.
Previously, Augustine was a Research Fellow on the Building Resilience of Lake Bosomtwe to Climate Change (RELAB) project and served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at UENR, supporting undergraduate courses in ecology, biodiversity conservation, and ecotourism. A member of the Ghana Wildlife Society (GWS), Augustine is committed to bridging scientific research, community engagement, and practical conservation to protect Ghana’s wildlife and ecosystems
