Executive Secretary & Administrative Assistant

Christabel Agro is a Climate Change and Sustainable Development specialist with a strong background in environmental mapping, GIS, and field-based natural resource management. She serves as the Executive Secretary and Administrative Assistant at Alliance for Pangolin Conservation Ghana (Pangolin-GH), where she supports administrative coordination, project documentation, and field operations across the organization’s conservation programs.
Christabel holds a Bachelor of Science in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). Her academic training covered key areas including GIS and Remote Sensing, Hydrology, Land Degradation, Earth Systems Analysis, Statistics for Geoscientists, and Sustainable Development, providing her with a solid interdisciplinary foundation for conservation work.
She completed her National Service as a Teaching and Graduate Assistant in the Department of Geological Sciences at UENR, where she supported tutorials, marked scripts, organized student presentations, and assisted with land surveying practical sessions. She also undertook field-based internships with the Forest Services Division in Dormaa, contributing to forest inventory, GIS and remote sensing activities, surveying and mapping of admitted farms, enumeration of harvestable trees, preparation of log measurement and conveyance certificates, and community service initiatives.
Christabel possesses practical skills in environmental and ecological mapping, GIS and Remote Sensing, forest inventory, stakeholder engagement, proposal writing support, and office administration, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools. She has also participated in professional capacity-building programs, including Climate Leadership Training with The Climate Reality Project (West Africa) and Digital Earth Africa Sandbox training.
At Pangolin-GH, Christabel plays a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative operations, supporting project implementation, maintaining records, and facilitating communication between field teams and management. Her combined administrative, technical, and environmental skills strengthen the organization’s ability to deliver effective, science-based, and well-coordinated conservation interventions.
