Miriam Mawusi Agro is a finance and administration professional with extensive experience in financial oversight, internal controls, compliance, and operational management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with Sociology from the University of Ghana and is a Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Certificate holder, with additional professional training from the Access Bank School of Banking Excellence.

She currently serves as a Branch Services Head at Access Bank Ghana Plc, where she oversees financial operations, risk management, cash controls, reconciliations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. Her role involves ensuring adherence to institutional policies, strengthening service delivery systems, and supporting staff capacity development to maintain operational efficiency and accountability.

Miriam brings strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting oversight, transaction authorization, and audit readiness, developed through progressive leadership roles within the banking sector, including Branch Services Head (Backup) and Customer Care Officer. Her professional background is complemented by experience in community service, education, and social welfare, providing her with a strong appreciation of ethical governance, safeguarding, and inclusive institutional practice.

As Director of Finance and Administration at Pangolin-GH, Miriam leads the organization’s financial management and administrative systems, ensuring transparent use of donor funds, compliance with grant and partner requirements, and effective internal controls. She plays a key role in strengthening organizational systems that support credible reporting, institutional sustainability, and the delivery of measurable conservation impact.
